Our Doulas do not make decisions for clients regarding their care, or interventions,  they only educate.  Our Doulas do not offer medical advise, our  doulas work with your medical provider, not against them.  Our  Doulas do not do cervical checks/bp checks,  FHT check or anything considered "medical" Our Doulas do not treat postpartum depression, only Iditentify sysptoms and refer to medical provider.  Our Doulas do not deliver babys, or attend births without a midwife or OB. Our  Doulas do not give medication.  Our Doulas are Professional Health Care Providers and are held to the same HIPPA standards. Azura Doulas belive natural births home births are amazing but not for everyone, we belive interventions save lives when not abused, we belive c-sections are a last resort, but nothing to feel shame over, Momma, you fought hard. We belive a healthy momma and helathy baby is the ultimate goal, we belive The Lord will never leave your side.  Or Dulas belive prayer is one of the strongest interventions that we can offer...For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.....Isaiah 41:13
